​Cricket South Africa (CSA) is the governing body responsible for the administration and development of professional and amateur cricket in South Africa. Established in 1991 following the unification of racially divided cricket associations, CSA's formation marked South Africa's return to international cricket after years of isolation due to apartheid policies. .



The Execution
Oxygen Media proudly supported Cricket South Africa with the print media execution of the 2019 Mzansi Super League tournament on Independent Media’s multiple platforms, including digital. The strategy was also supported by direct consumer engagements via direct activations at the various sports venues. Oxygen ensured advertising placements were seamlessly delivered and published timeously and professionally as per the agreed schedule with CSA. Working to the budgets provided, the advertising placements provided considerable value for money to CSA and ensured both national and localised coverage and support for all six of the MSL franchises.
Oxygen ensured coverage on sport, news and lifestyle print channels, and online coverage on Independent’s platforms. The activations proved a major success, allowing affinity for local cricket clubs with recognised media houses and MSL franchises.
